Music. It means so many things for so many different people.

For me, music is more than a sneaky little pleasure or way to escape. It's my love, my life, my passion.

Ever since I can remember I've had a bond with music that I simply can't explain. It's played such a major role in my world, challenging me not only as an artist, but also as a person. It's the reason I left my home in Christchurch, New Zealand to move to Sydney, it's the reason I prefer to spend my time working on my craft, performing live or writing in the studio, and it's the reason I'll always push myself for something more. Something incredible.

In the time that I've been living in Australia I've had some amazing opportunities. I've performed for the Prime Minister at Parliament House, for big audiences at stunning, iconic venues such as the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Cockatoo Island mostly with the wonderfully talented corporate entertainment act Atomic and I've shared intimate moments with those I've been privileged enough to entertain for at private functions. My voice has featured on films, TV series, numerous advertising campaigns and released work from artists both here and overseas.

Of all my endeavours to date however, I’m most proud my original work as a co-writer/producer and singer with WHITECITYLIGHT . Our debut album launch was a highlight of my career, you can check out the works on iTunes.

Music always surprises me with it's ability to affect change and bring people together, it's for this reason that I'll continue doing what I love and hope too that I can touch people in the same way that my favourite artists have influenced me.

This year is shaping up to be an exciting year; I hope it’s going to be a great one for you too. Thanks for stopping by – Jon.
